Damp Proofing

Damp proofing provides a barrier between your cinderblock or brick wall and the building’s interior. Damp proofing will keep out soil moisture, preventing it from entering interior spaces.

Triangle Caulking and Waterproofing can help with your damp proofing project, either spraying asphalt-based products or applying by hand to the wall. We use multi-purpose, weather resistant, breathable and vapor barriers, either fibered or non-fibered.

It’s important to note that damp proofing is not the same as waterproofing. Damp proofing retards water, but will not provide the same protection as waterproofing to keep water out. Our team knows the difference and can recommend one or the other based on your project.
